The Dri-Seal range of products has been developed as a cost-effective means to enhance the longevity of both shell & tube and air-blast heat exchangers. Our product range currently comprises of:- Dri-Seal Jiffi-Plug - the safest and most convenient method of plugging failed heat exchanger tubes Dri-Seal Façade Tubeplate Protection System - for cost effective life extension of eroded or corroded heat exchanger tubeplates Dri-Seal Tube Insert - protect the ends of heat exchanger tubes from turbulence induced erosion Dri-Seal Tube Inserts The Dri-Seal Tube Insert has been developed in conjunction with the Dri-Seal Façade to protect heat exchanger tube ends from erosion and corrosion. Tube Inserts can be used either on their own or in conjunction with the Dri-Seal Façade. The problem As one of the common points of heat exchanger failure, the tube ends of the heat exchanger can suffer from severe erosion and corrosion (particularly so at the inlet end where turbulence is more pronounced) due to the heat transfer medium and any impurities contained within it.	The solution The simple yet effective Dri-Seal Tube Insert has been designed to form an impermeable barrier between the tube ends and heat transfer medium. Available in two main forms, the Armaguard metallic system, which uses an effective interference fit design, and the Plastiguard non-metallic system utilising the ClipLock design. Uses The Dri-Seal Tube Insert System can be used in both new and old heat exchangers and can be tailored to suit the individual requirements of the host heat exchanger. Materials The Armaguard metallic insert can be specified in a wide variety of materials depending upon the specific application, including titanium and copper alloys. The Plastiguard non-metallic inserts are available in a high quality Nylon, although alternatives may be available dependent upon the quantities required.
