Applied Cooling Technology has been manufacturing heat exchanger units and components for the Offshore
industry for nearly three decades.
Seawater cooling can cause
premature failure of units due to
erosion and corrosion of tubes
and tube plates if consideration is not taken into account at
the initial design stage. To overcome this issue, these units
have been made from 90/10 copper-nickel, 70/30 copper-nickel or
Titanium in order to withstand the harsh environments in which
they must operate.
In certain applications the
Dri-Seal longevity
products have also been included to increase the life of the
units. The cost and working practices required to carry out
any kind of repair,
replacement, or
redesign of
heat exchanger
units for Offshore applications, means that it is imperative to
‘get it right first time’, and to supply units that last beyond
their normal expectation. The expertise and reputation that
Applied Cooling Technology has gained over the years stands the
company in good stead to provide real solutions to problems
encountered in the harsh conditions of the Offshore market. |
