Marine heat exchangers for container ships,
tankers, LPG carriers etc have formed the backbone of our
business for almost three decades.

On the rare occasion that we do not have sufficient data to
manufacture a replacement unit, one of our experienced field
engineers can be despatched to the vessel, wherever it may be,
in order to carry out a site survey.
Feedback from our marine clients leads us to believe that
significant fuel savings can be made by fitting our air-coolers,
resulting in payback within a matter of weeks.

Renowned within the marine industry for it’s advanced
range of air-coolers and high quality shell & tube heat
exchangers, direct replacements are available for virtually all
marine diesel engine air-coolers, including many of those

Applied Cooling Technology has design data and manufacturing
drawings for thousands of marine charge air coolers, many of
which are listed here (this
page contains large amount of data and may take a while to
load).
Patented ElfinBlock cores are used in our finned air heat
exchangers with fins that are both flat and consistent. With CNC
fin placement to within a few microns, stacked rows align better
to reduce pressure drop. Superior performance combined with the
ability to incorporate advanced vortex generation in the airflow
allows greater spacing between fins. These attributes combine to
reduce performance-degrading fouling issues. Our ability to use
harder tempered fin materials also means that should fouling
occur, the fined core can be pressure washed without causing
damage and further performance degradation. |
