The flexibility of ElfinBlock makes it ideal for use in
compressor applications. Consider the possible issues associated
with air dispersion, water separation and pressure drop over the
core.

With full CNC control of fin placement to within a few microns,
the fin spacing can be varied over the length of the core and
absolute positioning means stacked rows align better to minimise
pressure drop.
Combined with the ability to space fins at up to 40 fins per
inch or more, this makes ElfinBlock the optimum choice for high
velocity air applications. Our experience has proven that
approach temperatures can be reduced by the introduction of
ElfinBlock. |

Applied Cooling Technology has for many years produced inter-
and after-coolers for popular compressors while also being able
to manufacture coolers for special requirements or to replace
models that the original manufacturer can no longer supply. We
are able to manufacture in most materials and can offer custom
designed, free standing after coolers to specific requirements.

We manufacture replacement inter- and after-cooler elements for
Broom Wade V major machines with either original type wire fin
tubes or our own cost-effective plate fin type. Both of which
are available ex-stock.
We also manufacture replacement inter- and after-cooler elements
for Atlas Copco ZR type machines using rope-type enhanced
surface stainless steel tube. We have models 3, 4, 5 and 6
machines available ex-stock.
